Alec Baldwin Ties The Knot!

Everything happens in threes, so news that Alec Baldwin got married to girlfriend Hilaria Thomas helps round out the weekend news cycle that includes Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce and Adele’s pregnancy.

According to people, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas had been engaged for three months, and got married yesterday at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City. Guests included Lorne Michaels, Woody Allen and Tina Fey (obviously), and the reception took place at NYU’s Kimmel Center.

Evidently, planning commenced right up until the big day. People reports that Hilaria was tweeting about bridal magazines as early as Wednesday, and later in the week she revealed that “being a bride” is/was stressful. Cue: understanding nods from around the world.

As for whether we’ll continue to know Hilaria Thomas as just that? As far as a friend knows, Thomas will be taking Alec Baldwin’s last name. AND with a name like Hilaria, we should all not be surprised that she’s now part of a social circle brimming with actual hilarity. (I’m here all week, guys!)
