Rihanna’s High Street Line

As of Spring 2013, you can own a Rihanna-designed piece for River Island.

Confirmed today by Vogue UK, the March rumours are officially fact now that the High Street label has broken its silence about enlisting Rihanna to design a capsule collection for them.

“I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for sometime,” Rihanna added. “River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family-run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something special.”

The feeling goes both ways. River Island chief executive Ben Lewis added that they are “thrilled to be collaborating with Rihanna and to be the first fashion brand to work with her in this way.” He also said that Rihanna “will be designing the collection and [they] will be sharing [their] fashion expertise with her to develop a range her fans will love.”
