New Couple Alert: John Mayer and Katy Perry?

It was only a matter of time before a new celebrity coupling would (temporarily) take the reigns from the K-Stew debacle, so let’s acquaint ourselves with John Mayer and Katy Perry who appear to be Hollywood’s new “it” item.

According to reports, the two spent a night at the Chateau Marmont this week and were photographed getting into the same car the next day. However, this isn’t new: a source tells Us Weekly that Katy Perry and Johny Mayer have actually been together as long ago as June when they were seen at Soho House.

“They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!” exclaimed a source. (Who seems pretty stoked to be giving his or her report on Katy and John.)

Expect more reports to surface as the Katy Perry-John Mayer coupling will keep the attention of anyone who’s a fan of either artist — or at least anyone who’s a fan of giving Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson some space.
