Our final nail look of World MasterCard Fashion Week is courtesy of toronto-based designer Hilary MacMillan's F/W 2014 collection. MacMillan creates wearable designs for the urban modern woman, and this nail look is just that!
Inspiration: The fall/winter collection was inspired by Scottish game hunting. It is a very recognizable esthetic and she utilized it in the collection both in colour and tailoring and, of course, with plenty of plaid. The essie team decided to match the shade and texture of the red hue featured in this plaid design. They were left with a classic red nail look with a matte, cloth-like finish.

Step 1: Apply one coat of Essie's "Ridge filling Base coat".
Step 2: Apply two coats of Essie's Scottish plaid red "A-List".
Step 3: Apply one coat of "Matte about You" Topcoat to remove the shine and finish the look.
